2. types of data processed

We generally process the following personal data:

  • Identification data: First name, surname, company if applicable, owner information.
  • Contact details: Telephone number, e-mail address, postal address if applicable and address of the property in Mallorca.
  • Economic data: IBAN or other payment data, insofar as required for the processing of services.
  • Data on the property: location, use (holiday home / second home), special conditions, photos to document the condition (only with express consent and for a clear purpose).
  • Website data (when visiting verdomo.es): IP address, date/time of access, pages viewed, browser type, device information, cookies if applicable (see cookie policy).

3. purposes and legal bases of the processing

Purposes:

  • Processing of enquiries via the contact form, e-mail or telephone.
  • Preparation of offers and conclusion of contracts for house care, house sitting, house maintenance, cleaning, garden and pool maintenance.
  • Property management, inspections, documentation by report / photos, passing on information to owners.
  • Administration and processing of payments (invoicing, collection).
  • Fulfilment of legal obligations (e.g. accounting and taxes).
  • (optional, possibly with consent) Sending of advertising information about our services.

Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6):

  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR: Contract fulfilment and pre-contractual measures (offer, contractual relationship, processing of service visits).
  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR: Fulfilment of legal obligations (e.g. tax retention obligations).
  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR: Legitimate interest in the security and proper management of the property and the efficient processing of the contract.
  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR: Consent for marketing messages or when using photos of the property for advertising purposes.

4. storage duration

Personal data is only stored for as long as is necessary for the aforementioned purposes or statutory retention obligations (e.g. tax obligations).

After the storage period has expired, the data will be deleted or anonymised, unless there is a legal obligation to continue storing it.

5. recipient of the data

As a rule, the following recipients receive access to your data:

  • Financial service providers: Banks or payment service providers for processing payments.
  • Service providers as processors: e.g. cleaning companies, garden and pool services, maintenance companies, IT service providers, hosting providers, e-mail and CRM solutions in the backend.
  • Authorities: if there is a legal obligation to transfer data (e.g. tax authorities).

We conclude a contract with all processors in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, which ensures the secure handling of data in accordance with data protection law.

Data is only transferred to third countries outside the EEA if this is done in accordance with the law and with suitable guarantees (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

Automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place in our context.

  • Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You can have incorrect or incomplete data corrected.

  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): In certain cases, you can request a restriction of processing.
  • Objection (Art. 21 GDPR): You can object to processing for legitimate interest (e.g. for advertising purposes).
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You can have your data handed over to you in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
